Emphasizing Trust

We offer a secure, nurturing environment emphasizing trust and each child’s daily rhythm.

What is the Nido infant Program?

At Horizon Child Care, our Nido program is designed for infants, typically from 9 to 18 months old, creating a nurturing environment that supports their developmental needs. The classroom is carefully prepared to be safe, inviting, and accessible, allowing infants to explore and learn at their own pace.

Materials are chosen to promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and independence, while respecting each child’s individual rhythm. Educators observe and guide children, balancing freedom and structure to foster curiosity and self-discovery. Language development is emphasized through rich verbal interaction and exposure to vocabulary in a calm, soothing environment.
